Soul Swap
The soul demon has sent you both to purgatory to continuously battle to the death. However, defeating the demon lord in this world does not send you back; instead, your souls swap bodies to battle it out again. In each round, you get an upgrade, but beware as when your soul swap and roles reverse your upgrades remain for your enemy to use against you.
